Ola Roadster Electric Bike price and features: After a long wait, the country’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ola Electric has finally officially launched its first electric motorcycle range Ola Roadster in the domestic market. This bike has been introduced in a total of three variants Roadster X, Roadster and Roadster Pro. All these variants come with different battery packs. The starting price of the base model of this bike range i.e. Ola Roadster X has been fixed at just Rs 74,999 (ex-showroom).
Ola Roadster Series Price:
Talking about the entry level variant Roadster X, this model comes in three battery packs 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh and 4.5kWh. Whose price is Rs 74,999, Rs 84,999 and Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom, Bangalore) respectively.
The mid variant i.e. Roadster has also been introduced with three different battery packs of 3 kWh, 4.5kWh and 6kWh. Their prices are Rs 1,04,999, Rs 1,19,999 and Rs 1,39,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
Apart from this, the company has introduced the higher variant i.e. Roadster Pro with only two battery packs 8kWh and 16kWh. Their prices are Rs 1,99,999 and Rs 2,49,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) respectively.
Power, Performance and Range:
Apart from the battery capacity and prices, the look and design of the first two variants, Roadster X and Roadster, are quite similar. The top model of Roadster X, i.e. the 4.5kWh variant, gives a range of 200 km on a single charge. The top speed of this variant is 124 km/h.
On the other hand, the top 6kWh variant of the second model Roadster gives a driving range of 248 km in a single charge. The top speed of this variant is 126 km/h. Roadster X has an 11kW electric motor while Roadster has a 13kW electric motor.
Talking about Roadster Pro, its price is the highest. Regarding its top model i.e. the variant with 16kWh battery pack, the company claims that this bike is capable of giving a driving range of up to 579 km in a single charge. This bike has a 52kW electric motor which generates a torque of 105Nm. Its top speed is also 194 km/h. Which is much better than any petrol bike in general. This variant is capable of catching the speed of 0 to 60 km/h in just 1.6 seconds.

In Roadster X, the company has given three riding modes including Sports, Normal and Eco. It also has a 4.3-inch LCD display which operates with MoveOS. It has features like Ola Maps Navigation (turn-by-turn), Cruise Control, DIY Mode, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, OTA Update, Digital Key. You can also operate this bike with Ola Electric’s smartphone app.
On the other hand, the Roadster i.e. the second variant has some more features. It has 4 driving modes including Hyper, Sport, Norm and Eco. It has a large 6.8 inch TFT touchscreen display system. Artificial Intelligence (AI) based features like Proximity Unlock, Cruise Control, Party Mode, Tamper Alert, Krutrim Assistance have also been provided.
Talking about the features of Roadster Pro, this bike based on steel frame has up-side-down (USD) fork in the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. It has a 10-inch TFT touchscreen display. The company has also included 4 riding modes (Hyper, Sport, Norm and Eco) in this bike. Apart from this, it also has two customizable modes which customers can add as per their needs.
Booking and Delivery:
Ola Electric founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal says that the booking of all these bikes has been officially started. It can be booked from the company’s official website. Apart from this, the company is planning to start its delivery from January next year.
