Officer’s Village: This village, 800 KM away from Delhi, has government officers in every house, those who could not become one are working as engineers-doctors in America and Malaysia

There is a village in Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh, about 800 km from the national capital New Delhi- PadiyalThe population of this village is 5500 and till now more than 100 officers have been appointed. Who are serving in the country and state as well as the surrounding states. On an average, there is one government employee in every house of this village, whose number is 300. The competition among the youth to appear in competitive examinations started from the time of independence. Not only this, in the assembly elections held after independence, Bapu Singh Alava from here was the first MLA of Kukshi assembly.

This village comes under Dahi development block of Dhar district. Where the literacy rate is 90 percent. In Padiyal, famous as the village of officers, people only dream of becoming officers. Also, some of the youth here are engineers in countries like America and Malaysia, while others are doing business. In the higher secondary school of the village, 23 teachers teach 702 students.

The social fabric of the village is centered on education

Manoj Dubey, who has been working as BRC in this area for a long time, has done many things for the betterment of education. As a result, the rate of education here is quite high. He told that 12 officers of the village have retired and are doing public service. The youth who are currently studying are getting higher education by getting inspired by the elders. The social fabric of the village is centered on education.

According to BRC Dubey, smart classes have been started in Padiyal for students from class 6 to 12. This year, 4 students from here got selected in NEET and 3 students got selected in JEE Main and are studying engineering.
