Now students will say ‘Jai Hind’ instead of Good Morning in Haryana schools, the rule will be implemented from August 15

The Naib Saini government of Haryana has taken a big decision. The education department has ordered that now students in schools in Haryana will say Jai Hind instead of Good Morning. Jai Hind will be implemented as a greeting on the occasion of Independence Day. The instructions said that greetings like Jai Hind will increase patriotism and respect for the country among students.

According to a circular issued by the state government’s Directorate of School Education on Thursday, the move initiated by the Haryana government aims to ‘instill a deep sense of patriotism and national pride’ among students. The slogan ‘Jai Hind’ was given by Subhash Chandra Bose during India’s freedom movement and was adopted as a salute by the armed forces after independence.

It is worth noting that the Directorate of School Education has sent this circular to all the District Education Officers, District Primary Education Officers, District Block Education Officers, Block Primary Education Officers, Principals and Headmasters. It has been said that now ‘Jai Hind’ will be used in place of ‘Good Morning’ in schools, so that every day students can be ‘inspired with the spirit of national unity’ and ‘respect for the rich history’ of the country can be expressed.
