Now Bajrangbali is the only support… Hope for a miracle amidst the terror of wolves, villagers of Bahraich are reciting Hanuman Chalisa-Sunderkand

‘Operation Bhedia’ is going on in Bahraich, UP. The forest department has succeeded in catching four wolves for now but two man-eaters are still roaming freely. These wolves are attacking anyone anytime. They have killed 10 people and injured dozens of villagers. Meanwhile, the villagers have now turned to God to get rid of the wolves. They have started performing pujas.

Seeing that the forest department is not getting any further success, the villagers are now hoping for a ‘miracle’ to drive away the wolves. On Tuesday, they have started reciting Hanuman Chalisa and Sunderkand. The villagers say that when the forest department is unable to prove its capability, now only Bajrangbali will drive away the man-eating wolves. The priest says that the evil force (wolves) will be driven away with Hanuman Chalisa and Sunderkand. Bajrangbali will definitely show some miracle.

It is worth noting that people of 35 villages are in panic due to the continuous attacks of man-eating wolves in Mahsi tehsil of Bahraich. During this time, many senior officers have reached the spot on the orders of CM Yogi. These include 10 officers including MD (IFS) Sanjay Kumar of Forest Corporation, Chief Forest Conservator (IFS) HV Girish, two DFOs and 2 Assistant Forest Conservators.

Now the search operation will be conducted under the joint leadership of MD Sanjay Kumar and CCF HV Girish. Meanwhile, CCF Renu Singh will assist the rescue teams by coordinating with the police-administration.

About 25 teams from 5 forest divisions Bahraich, Katarniaghat Wildlife, Shravasti, Gonda and Barabanki are engaged to catch these man-eating wolves. Most of the wolf attacks have been seen in Mahsi tehsil area. Therefore, out of 25 teams, 12 teams have been deployed in Mahsi area only. Police along with two companies of PAC jawans are deployed for security.

Amidst all this, the forest department is now working to catch the man-eating wolves in Bahraich district. Colourful teddy dolls is using teddy dolls. These teddy dolls are being used as fake bait. The special thing is that these dolls have been soaked in children’s urine so that they smell like children and wolves are drawn towards them. These teddy dolls have been placed near the river banks, wolves’ resting places and dens.
