He said that a special committee was formed to prepare this manifesto, the main purpose of which was to ensure that people know on which issues the party is seeking votes.

Omar Abdullah said that the party had also sought suggestions from the public to prepare this manifesto. He said, “We received a response from every corner of the state, which surprised us. We read every message and mail and have included all the important suggestions in this manifesto.”

He also clarified that this manifesto is not limited to only election promises, but it is a roadmap for the next 5 years of governance. Omar said, “We have ensured that we make only those promises that we can fulfil.”

It is clear from this statement of Omar Abdullah that this time the National Conference has prepared a strong and authentic manifesto keeping in mind the expectations and needs of the people, which is not only a part of the election strategy but is also the party’s governance agenda for the coming 5 years.
