Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon has completed 10 years in the film industry. Kriti made her debut with the film ‘Heropanti’. Recently, Kriti talked about her journey in Nikhil Kamath’s podcast. Kriti said that she is an outsider. She has no connection with the film background. Many times she gets frustrated thinking about this. But now it does not matter to her, because she has proved herself with her work in the film industry.
Kriti said this
Kriti said- I have friends in the industry, but sometimes I think that I don’t have any friend whom I can call late at night or at odd hours. Earlier when this used to happen, I used to get frustrated, but now it doesn’t matter to me. It took me a decade, i.e. 10 years, to reach where I am today. I am so engrossed in my work that now I don’t have to prove anything to anyone, because I know how to work and people know this.
“After spending 10 years in the industry, I don’t need any validation now. Whether my film is a hit at the box office or not, people will consider me an actor. And I have always been hungry to be an actor, not to earn money. Not even for stardom. I performed, won awards and National Awards, now I feel that I don’t need to prove myself to anyone. Otherwise I used to push myself and only think about working.”
Talking about the work front, Kriti was seen with Shahid Kapoor in ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’. In this, the actress played the role of a robot. Apart from this, Kriti was seen in the film ‘Crew’ with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu. In the film, Kriti played the role of an air hostess. This film did very well at the box office. All three actresses were in the headlines among the audience.
