Hands of help have started coming forward for Sultanpur resident Ramchet Mochi who lived a life of anonymity till yesterday. Ramchet who looked common till a few days ago has now become special. But he says that he is still not getting the benefits of government schemes. In such a situation, today (7 August) a large number of Congressmen reached the DM office with Ramchet. On which the DM has ordered the DDO to investigate the matter.
Actually, this is the same Ramchet cobbler whose small shop is located at MLA Nagar crossing in Sultanpur district. Ramchet was a common man till 26th July, he used to beg people for his needs, but due to poverty and helplessness, no one paid attention to him. But on 26th July, Rahul Gandhi reached Ramchet’s shop to ask about his well-being. After this, Ramchet became famous.

According to Ramchet Mochi, he neither got a Prime Minister’s house nor a toilet. The government ration he used to get was also stopped because the ration card was in his wife’s name. After her death, it could not be transferred.
Amidst all this, a few days ago Rahul Gandhi had sent a shoe stitching machine for Ramchet. Ramchet was happy after getting the machine. He thought that maybe now the doors of his closed luck will open. Something similar happened. Now everyone in the area is coming forward to help Ramchet, including Congressmen.
On Wednesday, under the leadership of Congress District President Abhishek Singh Rana, all the workers along with Ramchet reached the public court of District Magistrate Kritika Jyotsna to get him the benefits of government schemes. During this, Ramchet Mochi told the District Magistrate that he or his family is not getting the benefits of any government scheme. On this, the District Magistrate told Ramchet that after getting the investigation done within a week, he will soon be given the benefits of government schemes.
According to Ramchet, he had demanded colony and other schemes from the Pradhan many times but no one listened to him. Meanwhile, Congress District President Abhishek Singh Rana said that there are many people like Ramchet who are not getting the benefits of government schemes. Now Congress workers will meet such people and present them before the administration and get them the benefits of government schemes.
In this case, District Development Officer Ajay Kumar Pandey said that Ramchet ji had come for Janta Darshan today. He has demanded the benefits of various schemes. We are investigating which schemes have already benefited him. If he has not benefited from any scheme, then after investigation, if he is found eligible, action will be taken on him as soon as possible.
