‘Nitish Kumar has surrendered’, said Lalu Yadav on Bihar not getting special status

RJD chief Lalu Yadav has targeted the Nitish government for not giving special status to Bihar. Lalu Yadav, who reached Patna from Delhi, has said that Nitish Kumar has failed, he has surrendered.

Lalu Yadav had gone to AIIMS in Delhi for treatment. As soon as he returned to Patna on Thursday, the media started asking him questions at the airport. While answering a question about the budget, he said that the Center has given him a rattle.

BJP and JDU counterattack

Earlier, Rabri Devi had also given a similar statement calling the budget a rattle, after which JDU retaliated to her statement saying that she is speaking against Bihar. JDU’s working president Sanjay Jha said, “RJD is speaking against Bihar and Biharis… Modi has done the work of making a game changer for Bihar. Only those who hate Bihar are saying such negative things.”

BJP has also hit back at RJD. Union Minister Giriraj Singh said, ‘Rabri Devi ji, if you think the budget is a rattle, then take it to Lalu ji and play it. The person who was made to sit on a wheel chair and given a rattle by the people is speaking today.’
