Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley Dodged when asked if she believed the former president Donald Trump is a good candidate, instead of just admitting that she thinks he’s the “Republican nominee.”
After Haley said about her 2024 candidacy in a CBS “Face the Nation” interview that aired Sunday, “I ran because I thought I could do a better job,” moderator Margaret Brennan replied, “You don’t think he’s a good candidate. is ?”

Sen. Lindsay Graham, RS.C., told NBC News “Meet the Press” Last month that he wanted to see Haley and other GOP leaders on trial, saying, “Me and Nikki need to go to Georgia.”
“We are advising President Trump on TV. He has a lot of critics,” Graham said. “He has a lot of advisers, but Nikki Haley and [Florida Gov. Ron] DeSantis and [Virginia Gov. Glenn] Youngkin and all these great people we have, let’s get together and really campaign for the guy.
Haley’s support — and willingness to stump for Trump — is a far cry from the dynamic the two shared during the primaries, which saw Trump. ridiculeing Hailey’s birth name and Hailey calls her “Reduced” and “Unhinged.” speaking After losing to Trump in the South Carolina primary at Clemson University, Haley called him a “disaster” for the GOP, adding that she wasn’t afraid to publicly express her disapproval and didn’t need to “kiss the ring.”
