Nicholas Denton (dangerous contacts, mistake) has been cast as the lead Anne’s riceof The TalamascaThe third series in AMCNi Annie’s Rice Immortal Universe.
A drama about a secretive society called The Talamasca is slated to premiere on AMC and AMC+ in 2025 and will begin production next month in Manchester, England. The six-episode season will focus on the men and women responsible for tracking down and containing witches, vampires and other creatures scattered around the world.
Denton will play Guy Anatole, who is bright, handsome and sharp on the surface, but always knows that his mind works a little differently. On graduating law school, he is approached by a representative of Talamaska, a secret agency that monitors and protects us from the supernatural world. When Guy discovers that Talamasca has been tracking him since his childhood, he falls into a world of secret agents and immortals who have so far maintained a delicate balance with the mortal world. But in order to maintain that balance, and for Guy to survive, he must learn to embrace the dark, treacherous depths of his true and singular self.
Anne Rice the Talamasca It is executive produced by John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side) and Mark Lafferty (The right stuff, Stop and catch fire), who also serve as co-showrunners and producer Mark Johnson, who oversees the Anne Rice Immortal universe. Hancock will also direct.
