New bride raped in Bhadohi, accused first lured her with money and then brutalized her when she refused

A case of rape of a newly-wed bride has come to light in Bhadohi, UP. Police said on Saturday that a 20-year-old newly-wed woman was raped by a young man in her house. They said that the accused was identified as 28-year-old Rahul.

According to the news agency, the police said that the rape incident took place on Monday evening when the woman’s husband had gone out of the house. Station in-charge Sachchidanand Pandey said, ‘The accused Rahul (28) first tried to have an illicit relationship with the woman by luring her with money, but when she resisted, he gagged her and raped her.’

When the husband returned, the rape victim narrated her ordeal to him and he approached the police, Pandey said. Based on the complaint, an FIR was lodged against the accused under sections 64 (1) rape, 351 (2) criminal intimidation of the Indian Penal Code and further legal action was being taken, he said.

Nurse raped in Bhadohi

Let us tell you that a case of rape has also come to light in Bhadohi and here a 59-year-old man is accused of rape. Police say that a nurse complained against the lab technician and said that he raped her for several years by making false promises of marriage. Police have arrested the accused.

According to the agency, the 36-year-old nurse has filed a petition in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Sabiha Khatoon against 59-year-old Chintamani Sharma. Chintamani is posted as a lab technician in the health department.
