NEET-UG final result declared, rank of 4 lakh candidates changed, check score card like this

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024. After the new revised result, the ranks of about four lakh candidates have changed. It is worth noting that the merit list had to be changed after the Supreme Court’s direction regarding an ambiguous question in Physics. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had announced on July 23 that the revised results would be released within two days.

Let us tell you that in the result released on June 4, 67 students had secured top ranks. However, the Supreme Court’s decision, based on an expert committee of IIT-Delhi, ordered to accept only one correct option for the disputed question. This adjustment will affect the marks of about 4.2 lakh students who had chosen the previously accepted answer, reducing the number of top scorers from 61 to an estimated 17.
