NEET-UG Counselling 2024: The date for NEET UG counselling has arrived. MCC has issued a notice stating that counselling for NEET UG will start from August 14. However, the registration process for counselling will start in the first week of August.
National Medical Commission (NMC) Secretary Dr. B. Srinivas said that about 1.10 lakh seats of 710 medical colleges across the country will be filled through counseling. Apart from nursing seats and AYUSH seats, counseling will also be done for 21 thousand BDS seats.
MCC will conduct counselling for 15 per cent seats of All India Quota and 100 per cent seats of all AIIMS, JIPMER Pondicherry, 100 per cent seats of all Central Universities and Deemed Universities.

The number of toppers decreased due to revised results
There are 17 toppers in the revised result of NEET UG, while earlier there were 61 toppers. A total of 24,06,079 had registered for the exam, out of which 23,33,162 appeared. NTA said that the total number of candidates who passed is 13,15,853.
These documents will be required for counseling
Students going to participate in NEET UG counseling will need class 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates, income certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), valid identity proof, colour passport size photograph, scanned signature, transfer certificate, handicapped certificate (if applicable). In such a situation, if you are short of any document, then get it ready from now.
