NEET UG 2024: MBBS-BDS admissions start in Bihar, know where you will get a seat on which rank

Bihar Medical Admission 2024: The document verification process for round-1 for MBBS and BDS admission in medical colleges of Bihar has started. Admission can be taken till 2 September. After this, candidates will also be given the option to leave the seat on 3 and 4 September.

Actually, this time there will be admissions on a total of 1347 seats in Bihar. Which includes 12 government medical colleges and two dental colleges. There are 1200 seats of MBBS in private colleges and 200 seats in private dental colleges.

Students who participated in Bihar NEET UG counseling round-1 can download their seat allotment letter through the official website of Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Candidates can download the allotment letter by entering their application number and date of birth.

Know where you can get admission on which rank?

According to the report, candidates from General category securing All India Rank (AIR) 20 to 4610 rank (state rank 1 to 90) in NEET UG 2024 can get admission in Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH). Whereas candidates securing AIR 3883 to 6619 rank can get admission in Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS). Apart from this, candidates securing AIR 18119 to 31108 rank can get admission in Patna Dental College.

Please note that candidates who are allotted seats in the first round have to report to the designated colleges so that their documents can be checked. After the verification is complete, further eligible applicants can proceed with the admission process mentioned in the UGMAC-2024 brochure. Candidates wishing to upgrade their seats will also have to participate in the document verification. However, their documents will be kept confidential until the public release of the Round 2 seat allotment results.
