NEET PG Result 2024 Cut Off Marks: The wait for the release of NEET PG 2024 result is going to end soon. The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) can release the NEET PG result for admission to postgraduate medical courses anytime today. Candidates who appeared in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test PG (NEET PG) exam held on 11 August 2024 in two shifts will be able to check and download their score by visiting the official website natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in after the result is released.
NBEMS will announce the marks and cut-off of the candidates along with the NEET PG result. NBEMS will release the NEET PG cut-off for various categories in the result notification. Candidates who score equal to or more than the cut-off marks for their categories will be considered qualified in the exam. Individual scorecards will be released a few days after the result is released. NEET PG result has been evaluated based on the normalization method.
What is NEET PG 2024 Normalisation Method?
NEET PG exam results for each shift will be compiled based on actual marks and percentage. In this scoring system, the top score in each paper will be given a 100 percentile regardless of the actual score or percentage. This indicates that all other candidates in that shift have scored equal to or less than this top scorer. The final merit list and ranking of NEET PG will be determined by the percentile score obtained from the actual scores. In case of a tie in percentage, the older candidate will be ranked higher. Percentile scores will be calculated up to seven decimal places to minimize clustering effects and to reduce ties among candidates.

Step 3: PDF will open on the screen, search your roll number in it.
Step 4: Check your result and download the PDF.
Step 5: Take a printout copy of the PDF for future reference.
The exam was delayed due to technical issues
Let us tell you that this year the NEET PG exam was held at 416 examination centers in 170 cities across the country, in which more than 2 lakh candidates appeared. Out of 1,14,276 candidates registered in the first shift, 1,07,959 students appeared in the examination. Out of these, 6,317 PG candidates did not appear in the examination. NBEMS also said that due to technical reasons in the first shift, there was a maximum delay of one hour 45 minutes at two centers and less than 30 minutes at three centers.
In the second shift, 6,087 students were absent and out of the total 1,14,264 registered candidates, 1,08,177 candidates appeared for the PG exam. In a statement issued on August 11, NBEMS said that due to some technical reasons, there was a maximum delay of 55 minutes at one examination center and less than 30 minutes at four centers.
