Neeraj Chopra will stay in Germany for a month

Actually, the Paris Olympics ran from 26 July to 11 August. After the closing ceremony, there were reports that all the other athletes including Neeraj Chopra would return to India on 13 August. But before this, Neeraj’s uncle Bhim Chopra told Aaj Tak that Neeraj is not coming to India.

Uncle told that Neeraj has gone directly from Paris to Germany for his treatment and surgery. If needed, he will undergo surgery there. Uncle Bhim Chopra has also made it clear that Neeraj Chopra will stay in Germany for about a month.

Neeraj gave a hint after winning the medal

If reports are to be believed, top-3 doctors can perform surgery on Neeraj if needed. However, the final decision has to be taken by Neeraj only. Due to groin problem, Neeraj has played very few tournaments in recent times. Neeraj also hinted about surgery after the javelin final match at the Paris Olympics.

He had said, ‘I will talk to my team and take a decision accordingly. I am pushing myself despite the current condition of my body. I still have a lot left in me and I have to keep myself fit for it.’
