‘Naxalism will be eradicated from the country by March 2026’, Home Minister Amit Shah said in Chhattisgarh

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on a tour of Chhattisgarh. In a press conference in Raipur on Saturday, he said that Naxal attacks have reduced. People have faith in development. Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha have become free from the Naxal problem. Naxal attacks have reduced by 54 percent. The Home Minister said, ‘We will end left wing extremism. We will eliminate Naxalism from the country by March 2026.’

The Home Minister held a meeting on the problem of Naxalism in Raipur on Saturday. The issue of development was also discussed in it. Addressing the press conference, Amit Shah said, ‘My visit to Chhattisgarh was in the interest of solving the old Naxalism problem and 100 percent implementation of all the schemes of the Government of India and the Government of Chhattisgarh in the Naxalite areas and Naxal-affected districts and the progress of infrastructure projects in Naxal-affected areas and removing the obstacles coming in the way of progress.’
