National Space Day: India created history on the Moon on 23 August 2023, after which this day was declared as ‘National Space Day’. Now India is eagerly waiting for this day to celebrate its first National Space Day.

ISRO chief appealed

ISRO Chairman Dr. S Somnath has invited all the citizens of the country to participate in these activities and join the nationwide celebrations. He has said that more and more people should join to celebrate this day.

India had created history

Let us tell you that India successfully landed Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram lander in the south pole region of the Moon on 23 August last year. With its successful landing on the south pole, India became the first country to do so. To commemorate this achievement, 23 August every year has been declared as National Space Day by the Central Government.
