Muzaffarpur: Police got many important clues in the case of rape and murder of a minor, the accused had made 213 calls to the deceased

Police have found many important clues in the case of rape and murder of a minor girl in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. According to the information, the accused Sanjay Rai had called the deceased student’s mobile 213 times in a month. Also, the girl was called at around 10 pm on the night of the incident. During the investigation, the police also found out that the accused had talked to many other people on the phone that night.

The post-mortem report revealed that there were deep injury marks on the girl’s head, cheeks and neck. The police is now waiting for the biological test report. The police has started the investigation by taking out the call details of the people who came in contact with the accused.

The accused had called the girl before the murder and rape

Several special teams have been formed to arrest the accused and raids are being conducted. Also, the police have applied to the court for attachment of the accused’s house. On Tuesday, the deceased’s mother had lodged an FIR against the accused Sanjay Rai and five unknown people. But till now no one has been arrested in this case.

There are many similarities between this incident in Bihar and the murder of a junior doctor in Kolkata, West Bengal. After the murder of a junior doctor in Kolkata came to light, the police have arrested an accused. But the accused of rape and murder of a 14-year-old minor girl in Muzaffarpur is still absconding.
