Elon Musk will not be giving a speech at the Republican National Convention (RNC) today, despite speculation surrounding his potential appearance. The final night of the 2024 RNC is set to feature a lineup of notable speakers, including former President Donald Trump, who is expected to deliver a significant address as he accepts the GOP nomination. Other speakers include political figures such as Mike Pompeo and Tucker Carlson, as well as entertainment personalities like Hulk Hogan and Kid Rock.

Rumors about Musk’s participation were sparked by far-right activist Laura Loomer, who suggested he might be a guest speaker. However, the official speaker list released by the RNC did not include Musk’s name. Additionally, Musk himself clarified on social media that he would not be speaking at the event, stating, “I’m not speaking at the RNC”
Musk’s recent political activities have been noteworthy; he has publicly endorsed Trump and is reportedly committing $45 million a month to support a pro-Trump political action committee. This has fueled speculation about his involvement in the convention, but he has confirmed he will not appear on stage tonight.
