A shocking incident has come to light from Mumbai. Troubled by financial crisis, 38-year-old engineer Srinivas jumped into the sea from Atal Setu on Wednesday afternoon. Police said that the body has not been recovered yet. Police along with local fishermen are searching for him. It is being told that Srinivas left home at around 11:30 pm on Wednesday night. He spoke to his wife and four-year-old daughter on the phone on the way. But no one had any idea that he was going to commit suicide.
Srinivas’s family says that his financial condition was very bad. In 2023, while working in Kuwait, he attempted suicide by drinking floor cleaner. After this incident, Srinivas’s family is crying inconsolably. The help of fishing boats and marine security guards is being taken to find Srinivas. However, the search operation is being hampered due to bad weather.
Engineer jumped into the sea from Atal Setu
CCTV footage of this incident has also surfaced, in which it is seen that Srinivas comes to Atal Setu in his Tata Nexon car and climbs the railing of the bridge and jumps into the sea. According to the police, Srinivasan was a resident of Kuruturi Dombavali. He came home from Kuwait about 8 months ago. He had started a business in Mumbai.
