According to the information, this action took place in the Farah area of ​​Mathura on Wednesday morning. The team of STF Deputy SP Dharmesh Shahi had received information from informers late at night that the movement of Pankaj Yadav, a criminal with a reward of Rs 1 lakh, was in Mathura. After this, the team reached the spot and started the siege.

During this, STF personnel also fired bullets in retaliation. During this, a bullet hit Pankaj Yadav, due to which he got injured. After this, he was taken to the nearest health center, where doctors declared him dead. During this, Pankaj’s companion fled from the spot, raids are being conducted to search for him. A pistol, revolver, cartridges and bike have been recovered from the rewardee Pankaj Yadav.

The statement said that Pankaj Yadav worked for gangsters Mukhtar Ansari and Mohammad Shahabuddin and other gangs. Pankaj was a resident of village Tiharpur in Thana Ranipur of Mau district. Uttar Pradesh Police had announced a reward on him.

More than 40 serious cases were registered against Pankaj Yadav

Police officials said that a reward of Rs 1 lakh was declared on the miscreant Pankaj Yadav. He was the main accused in the murder of a policeman who was a witness in the contractor Manna Singh murder case in Mau district. He was absconding for a long time. More than 40 cases including murder, robbery, dacoity and extortion were registered against him. The police was raiding for a long time to catch the history sheeter.
