What is the whole matter?
Jitan Sahni, father of former Bihar minister Mukesh Sahni, was murdered by unknown miscreants with a sharp weapon late on Monday night. His mutilated body was recovered from his residence in Supaul Bazar, Darbhanga on Tuesday morning.
The news of father’s murder was received from the media
After getting information about this incident, the former minister has returned to Patna from Mumbai. After reaching Patna, while talking to journalists, he said that he got this news from the media and the people of the village. Almost all the leaders including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav have been talked to. Everyone has assured that whoever is guilty will not be spared. I request that the culprits should be given severe punishment.
‘There was no enmity with anyone’
Earlier, Mukesh Sahni’s brother Santosh Sahni told reporters that he had spoken to his father at 8 pm on Monday. The news of his murder was received in the morning. He had no enmity with anyone.
Nitish Kumar expressed condolences
On the other hand, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed deep condolences on the untimely demise of Jitan Sahni, father of former minister Mukesh Sahni. The Chief Minister said that the murder of Jitan Sahni is a very sad incident. The Chief Minister directed the Director General of Police to investigate the matter and ensure strict action against the culprits.
