Mugshots of Georgia school shooting suspect Colt Gray and his father A 14-year-old boy has been released after allegedly opening fire at Apalachee High School on Wednesday.

Colt allegedly killed two teachers and two fellow students when he went on a rampage at a high school in Winder, Georgia. Nine others were hospitalized with bullet injuries.

He was arrested Wednesday after surrendering to school resource officers and is now charged with four counts of murder as an adult.

Her father, Colin Gray, was later arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree murder, four counts of murder and eight counts of cruelty to children, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said.

Both Colt and Colin Gray were already on the radar of law enforcement after they were both interviewed more than a year ago about threats made by a student on the online gaming website, Discord.

In May 2023, the FBI was tipped off to a user making school shooting threats, and was able to track it back to Colt Gray, who was 13 years old at the time.

The student and his father were interviewed by law enforcement, but the sheriff’s report concluded that the threats definitely could not be attributed to Colt Gray.

This is a breaking story. More to follow.
