In Katni district of Madhya Pradesh, the police came as an ‘angel’ for a young man and saved his life by giving him CPR on time. Actually, after taking the man out of the pond, the policemen saw that he was lying unconscious and his breathing was also very slow. After this, the police saved his life by giving CPR and immediately took the young man to the hospital.
Now after treatment, the condition of the youth is improving. This incident is from Jhinna Pipariya village of Dhimarkheda police station area of Katni district. According to the information, at 3 pm, the police received information through Dial 100 that a youth has drowned in a pond.
On receiving the information, the Dial 100 team along with the police station in-charge reached the spot. After reaching the spot, the person was taken out of the pond with the help of the villagers. People had presumed him to be dead.

Dhimarkheda police station in-charge Mohammad Shahid said that when his pulse was checked, it had become very slow. After this, we immediately took him in the car and left for the hospital.

During this time, on the possibility of survival, I gave CPR to the young man in the car to save his life. He said, ‘As soon as I gave CPR, the young man started breathing and there was movement in his body and he started breathing.’ After this, after treatment by doctors in the hospital, the condition of the young man is better than before.
The people of the village and the family had presumed him dead
The young man who drowned in the pond has been identified as Sonu Patel (age-30 years), son of Bhura Patel. He had left home for some work but people found him drowned in the Diyagarh pond near the village. His family also started mourning considering him dead but due to police station in-charge Mohammad Shahid, his son’s life was saved.
