MP: In the famous temple where Mohan government’s minister had offered 5 kg silver jewellery, the cunning thieves stole it from there

A major theft has taken place at the famous Chhimchhima Hanuman temple in Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh. Unknown thieves raided the temple last night and stole 5.5 kg of silver jewellery. There is deep resentment among the local devotees after the incident. Meanwhile, the police reached the spot and registered a case against the unknown thieves and started investigation.

The surprising thing is that despite the presence of 3 policemen posted at the temple, the thieves were successful in carrying out the theft. At the same time, the CCTV cameras of the temple had also malfunctioned 4 days ago, questions are being raised about this too. It is being told that Minister Ramniwas Rawat had offered jewelry weighing 5.25 kg at this temple.

Last night after 12 o’clock, unknown thieves entered the Chhimchhima Hanuman temple from the back and stole the ornaments on the idol of Hanuman ji and the silver umbrella in the temple. This morning when the priest of the temple reached to perform the puja, he was shocked to see the scene. The priest called the SAF guards and other people deployed there to the spot.

After this, as soon as the devotees got information about the theft at the temple, a crowd of devotees started gathering there. After getting the information, Vijaypur police also reached the spot. Dog squad team has also been called to the spot so that some clue of the thieves can be found.

Ramesh Tiwari, president of Ramayan Samiti Chhimchhima Hanuman Temple, says that everything was fine until 11:30 pm, after which, when the priest reached there for the puja at 5:30 am, the ornaments were missing. Watch Video:-

SDOP of Vijaypur section PN Goyal says that as soon as the information about the theft was received, the police party and I myself have come to the temple. Search is being conducted.

The devotees associated with the temple have expressed deep displeasure over this incident and have demanded from the police that the thieves who have committed this incident should be arrested as soon as possible and the stolen silver should be brought back.

Let us tell you here that the ancient Chhimchhima Hanuman temple located in Vijaypur tehsil of the district is famous in Gwalior-Chambal region including Sheopur. According to the people associated with the temple committee, the jewellery that has been stolen from the temple also includes the silver jewellery offered recently by the state’s Forest Minister Ramniwas Rawat.
