MP: Grandfather was going to drop his grandson and granddaughter to hostel on bike, when bus hit him, two died

A bus hit a bike in Umaria, Madhya Pradesh, killing two people of the same family. Regarding the incident, the police said that on Sunday, a private bus hit a two-wheeler in Umaria, killing a brother and a sister of the same family while one is injured.

According to a news agency report, an official said that the accident took place on Umaria-Shahpura road, about 10 km from the district headquarters. He said that Narbad Singh (70), a resident of Lalpur (Amha), was travelling on a two-wheeler with his 17-year-old grandson Ganesh and granddaughter Phula Bai (18) when a private bus hit the vehicle.

The officer said that the man was going to drop his grandchildren to their hostel. He said that Narbad Singh and his grandson died on the spot, while Phula Bai was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment at the district hospital.

10 people died on Saturday

Let us tell you that on Saturday also ten people were killed in three separate road accidents in Madhya Pradesh. Four people originally from Rajasthan were killed and six others travelling with them were injured when an SUV collided with a truck on the Biaora-Bina highway in Vidisha district at around 4 am. A pickup vehicle fell into a 60-foot deep ditch in Ratlam district’s Raoti, killing three people including a boy and injuring 20 others.

The accident took place on the Ratti-Dholavad road, 35 km from the Ratlam district headquarters, when the vehicle overturned due to brake failure while climbing a slope and fell into the ditch. He said the deceased were identified as Leela Bai (40), Nanibai (47) and Ajay (15).
