MP Awadhesh Prasad’s statement on Ayodhya rape case, reiterates Akhilesh Yadav’s demand

After SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, now Faizabad MP Awadhesh Prasad has also demanded a DNA test in the Ayodhya rape case. He said that no innocent person should be implicated. A DNA test should be done. The Samajwadi Party is standing with the victim and her family with full readiness. On the issue of the photo raised by the BJP, Awadhesh Prasad said, ‘Everyday at least 500 people get their photos clicked with me. How can we deny the photo?’

On the main accused of Ayodhya rape case, Moeed Khan, SP MP Awadhesh Prasad said, ‘As far as this incident is concerned, it is very painful and shameful. No matter how much we condemn this incident, words will fall short. All the people related to this incident should be investigated, the truth should be found out and strict action should be taken against whoever is guilty. In this direction, the police should also separate the wheat from the chaff without succumbing to any pressure.’

‘DNA test should be done to clarify the matter further’

He said, ‘As far as the victim is concerned, we and our party are fully standing with her. Today I have to say with regret that the Bharatiya Janata Party is playing politics on this. I humbly request such people that this is not an opportunity for politics, but for sympathy. A painful incident has happened, try to get justice for it and take action against whoever is guilty. The innocent should not be implicated. To make this more clear, a DNA test should be done.’

‘A criminal has no caste’

Awadhesh Prasad said, ‘The Bharatiya Janata Party has no work. Today, the country is facing big questions. Of inflation, of employment. Just now in Lucknow, a man was carrying a woman on a motorcycle. There was a lot of water. They fell down and were shouting… save me, save me and some people were splashing water on them. There were at least 15-20 people. Our Chief Minister took only two names. One of a Yadav and one of a Muslim. There are 15-16 such people in it who belong to every caste.’

The SP MP said, ‘A criminal has no caste. I have been in politics for 45 years. I have never allowed anyone who has any connection with crime to come near me. I have never taken any kind of help from them.’

‘No one can deny the photo’

He said, ‘As far as the photo is concerned, we do politics. During the elections, lakhs of people got their photos clicked with us. Boys take selfies with us. Since I am in Delhi, at least 500 people get their photos clicked with me every day. Some are from Maharashtra, some from Rajasthan, some from Moradabad, some from Bihar. Our birthday was on the 31st. Many people came and got their photos clicked. Some people said put your hand on our head, put your hand on our shoulder. No one can deny the photo. How can we deny the photo. BJP should not do this kind of politics, it should do justice to the victim.’

Akhilesh Yadav also demanded a DNA test

Earlier, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav had said on the Ayodhya rape case that whoever is accused should undergo DNA test and justice should be done. The SP chief said that politics should not be done in this case by just making allegations. He said that whoever is guilty should be given full punishment according to the law. Meanwhile, BSP chief Mayawati cornered Akhilesh Yadav and asked, ‘How many such tests have been done in the SP government?’

Bulldozer action started on the main accused

Bulldozer action has now started on the bakery of the main accused SP leader Moid Khan. The administration has run a bulldozer on Moid Khan’s bakery located in Ayodhya. On Friday itself, the Revenue Department had measured the property of the accused. Moid Khan is also accused of illegally occupying many government lands along with ponds and graveyards.

The mother of the victim minor girl met CM Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Friday (August 2). During this, the CM assured strict action against SP leader Moid Khan and other accused. After this, action has been taken against the police station in-charge and outpost in-charge and investigation of the property of the accused has been started.

What is the whole matter?

An incident of alleged rape of a 12-year-old minor girl came to light in Ayodhya. It is being told that Samajwadi Party leader Moid Khan is also involved in this case. He has been seen with the Ayodhya MP many times. The accused has been arrested. However, it is being alleged that this is a case of gang rape, the video of which was also made by the SP leader.

It is being claimed in the report that Moid Khan first raped the girl and then recorded the incident. Not only this, it has been claimed in the information received that the accused Moid Khan is also accompanied by his partner named Raju Khan. According to the allegation, both of them kept gang raping the victim for two and a half months, the matter came to light when she became pregnant.
