Motivational speaker arrested at the airport, had a dispute with a visually impaired teacher, had commented on reincarnation

In Tamil Nadu, a motivational speaker was arrested from the airport. Police say that the motivational speaker had a dispute with a blind teacher. The speaker had given a controversial statement on karma and reincarnation. Due to which there was an argument with the teacher. This arrest was made on the complaint of an NGO, which works for the disabled.

According to the agency, Mahavishnu is the founder of Paramporul Foundation. He conducts programs based on yoga and meditation. Mahavishnu recently reached a school among the students, where he had to give a speech. During this, he expressed his views on karma and reincarnation. During this, Shankar, a blind teacher present in the program, strongly opposed some of his statements. A heated debate took place between the two. Its video went viral on social media.

After this, an NGO working for the disabled complained about the matter to the police. When Mahavishnu returned from a foreign trip, the police arrested him at the airport. The police produced the speaker in court, from where he was sent to judicial custody. The police say that action is being taken against the accused.

What did the Education Minister say on the arrest of the motivational speaker?

On the arrest of motivational speaker Mahavishnu, School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi said that the law will do its job. The organization of the disabled had complained about this matter. At the same time, BJP Tamil Nadu Vice President Narayanan Tirupathi termed the arrest of the motivational speaker as ‘hasty’. He wrote on social media – The government turned a cat into a tiger without any reason.
