In such a situation, if we talk about passengers all over the world, then more than 200 crore passengers have been affected only due to the flight service crash, because their navigation and all systems have been disrupted due to Microsoft’s server. The government has also given instructions to all companies to operate manually. CERT has issued an advisory.

This information has also been given by the government, but this crisis has created the biggest problem for the passengers traveling by air, not only this, the work of many airlines has come to a complete halt. However, a manual advisory has been issued by the government, on which all the affected airlines are working and are dealing with the passengers manually, but working manually is taking more time due to which every work including the flight is getting delayed. Due to this, the inconvenience of the passengers is increasing.

What did MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy say?

In such a situation, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, who himself operates the airline and is currently an MP and former minister of the Central Government, said in an exclusive conversation with Times Now Navbharat, “The biggest problem is of the passengers, due to which many types of problems are arising including ticketing related problems, rolling problems, package related problems.

He said that everything has been affected by the Microsoft outage. Flights have been the most affected, there is no effect on the operation of the aircraft. It is completely safe but the passenger baggage, check-in services, ticketing services or other services that passengers avail at the airport are facing problems. Not only this, whether it is the stock market or hospitals, all the related services have been affected.

‘2.25 crore passengers affected by this’

Rajiv Pratap Rudy said, “As far as air travel is concerned, it has affected about 2.25 crore flights that fly all over the world. 2.25 crore passengers would have been affected by this, definitely there will be a lot of economic loss due to this, the whole world is looking at this and I think the problem will be solved very soon.”

On the other hand, Minister of State Muralidhar Mohol from the Ministry of Civil Aviation of the Central Government, while giving information to the citizens of the country through his X handle, said that DGCA and Civil Aviation Ministry are keeping an eye on every situation. Necessary guidelines have been issued to deal with the problems that have arisen due to the disruption of Microsoft’s cloud services and the government is keeping a close eye on the matter.
