Mohammad Yunus said at the Dhakeshwari temple that to get the country out of the crisis, people should be united instead of dividing them. Everyone should remain patient in such challenging times.

He said that we want to create such a Bangladesh which is like a family and there is no question of discrimination and fights within the family. We are all people of Bangladesh. We all want to ensure that we can live here in peace.

He said that the law is equal for everyone. There is no need for such discrimination in our society. We have to correct it. This disease has to be eradicated from its roots.

During this, he appealed not to discriminate on the basis of religion or caste and said that there should be one law and one constitution for all the people of the country. We have to ensure that we are the people of this country.

According to two Hindu organisations of Bangladesh – Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council and Bangladesh Puja Udyapan Parishad, members of minority communities in Bangladesh have faced at least 205 incidents of attacks in 53 districts since the fall of the Sheikh Hasina-led government on August 5. Also, thousands of Bangladeshi Hindus are trying to come to neighboring country India to escape the violence.
