Bihar’s Industry Minister Nitish Mishra has given this information through social media. He said that people have been demanding a Special Economic Zone in Bihar for a long time. In this context, on June 20, he met the Commerce and Industry Minister of the Government of India, Piyush Goyal in New Delhi and requested him to develop a Special Economic Zone, informing him about the fact that there is not a single SEZ in Bihar.

After this, Union Minister Piyush Goyal informed Nitish Mishra through a letter that on 26 and 27 June, the proposed sites in Kumarbagh, West Champaran and Navanagar, Buxar were inspected by Falta SEZ in which both the places were found suitable for its development. This is a very important occasion for Bihar.

However, he also said that some formalities are still remaining in which necessary documents related to land etc. will be provided by BIADA and after completing the further process, it will be sent before the Board of Approval for approval.

It is being said that the development of SEZ in Bihar will usher in a new industrial era. Big industrial units from India and abroad will come to Bihar for investment and employment will increase.
