Rahul Gandhi But budget 2024, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday alleged that the government has presented a “Save Your Chair” budget in which empty promises have been made at the expense of other states to please the Bharatiya Janata Party. He also claimed that this budget is a copy of the Congress election manifesto and some previous budgets. Rahul made 3 serious allegations against the Modi government.

The first charge- Appeasing allies: Empty promises to them at the expense of other states.

Second allegation- Pleasing friends: Benefits to AA but no relief to common Indians.

Third allegation- Copy and paste: Congress manifesto and previous budgets.

Rahul Gandhi posted on ‘X’, ‘Hallo promises were made to them at the cost of other states to please allies. Friends were made happy, ‘AA’ was given benefits, but no relief was given to the common Indian.’ He alleged, ‘Congress’s manifesto and the last few budgets have been ‘copy-pasted’.

What was Congress’s ‘First Job Confirmed’ program?

Finance Minister Sitharaman has announced the Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme in the Union Budget-2024-25, under which the youth will get a monthly allowance of Rs 5,000 along with internship. Congress had promised the right to apprenticeship in its manifesto (Nyaya Patra) released for the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, under which it had promised to give Rs 8500 per month for one year along with training to unemployed youth holding diploma and degree. Congress had also named this program ‘Pehli Naukri Pakki’.
