An incident of looting a petrol pump at gunpoint has come to light in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district. This incident took place at Pakhanaha petrol pump in Panapur OP area which belongs to BJP MLA Raju Singh from Sahebganj area of Muzaffarpur. Here the miscreants came on a bike and asked the petrol pump employee to fill petrol. After which the criminals took out their pistols kept in their pockets and pointed them at the employees. When the employee protested, they also beat him up.
The miscreants took out 30 thousand from the pocket of the employee at gunpoint and then snatched cash worth 1.70 lakh rupees from the manager. The miscreants were so bold that they also vandalized the CCTV cameras installed at the petrol pump and took away the DVR of the cameras with them. After the robbery, all three miscreants fled towards Kanti area. While fleeing towards Kanti, the miscreants also tried to rob the HP petrol pump in front of a thermal power plant. They filled petrol worth 99 rupees from another petrol pump. The criminals ran away from there after seeing the crowd of local people at the HP petrol pump.
There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after this incident. Panapur SHO Abhishek Kumar said that three miscreants riding a bike looted the petrol pump. The three miscreants looted cash worth about 2 lakhs at gunpoint. At present the case is being investigated and the CCTV footage installed nearby is being scanned. The criminals also stole the DVR of the CCTV of the petrol pump.
