Minor who left home angry at her mother’s scolding was gang-raped, incident took place in a government hospital in Jodhpur, 2 sweepers arrested

A case of gang rape of a 14-year-old minor girl has come to light in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. As soon as the complaint of the incident was received, the police swung into action and arrested two accused. The accused committed this incident in the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital premises on August 25. The victim had left the house angry with her mother’s scolding.

On this matter, ACP Anil Kumar said that the girl’s family had lodged a missing report in Sursagar police station on the evening of August 25. The police found the girl on August 26, and her family was informed about it. During this, the girl told that two youths misbehaved with her in a room near the hospital’s biogas collection center. After this, the girl was medically examined and a complaint was filed against the accused. During the investigation, the police found out that the accused were hospital sweepers.

Hospital superintendent Fateh Singh Bhati said that one of the accused was working on contract with him earlier. While he has no information about the other one. While hospital sources say that both the accused work here as contract workers. Apart from this, the hospital superintendent said that we have reviewed the security arrangements in the hospital, the police have seen the CCTVs around the incident spot, we are cooperating with the police.

The girl’s family said that she had left the house without informing anyone on Saturday, while their missing report was lodged in Sursagar police station on August 25. The police said that when they came to know that the girl was in Mahatma Gandhi Hospital on August 26, they informed the family. After leaving the house, the girl kept roaming around the railway station road behind the hospital. It was from there that the accused targeted her and brought her to the hospital. Where she was gang-raped. Two accused have been arrested by the police.
