A minor girl suddenly went missing in Thane district of Maharashtra. She left her home to attend a birthday party at a friend’s house. But she did not return home after that. Now the police have registered a case of kidnapping on the complaint of the family members.
Giving information about this, a Thane police officer told PTI that the incident happened on August 12. That day the 16-year-old girl had gone to attend a birthday celebration at a friend’s house. Then she did not return.
The officer in charge of Thane’s Vishnunagar police station said that the minor girl is a resident of Dombivali. She had gone to her friend’s house to attend a birthday celebration and since then there is no trace of her. Her search is on.
According to the police station in-charge, on the complaint of the girl’s parents, a case of kidnapping has been registered in this case on Tuesday under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code (BNS). Now further investigation is going on in this case.
