A shocking incident has come to light in Wardha, Maharashtra. After a dispute over attendance in the medical college, a second year MBBS student committed suicide by jumping from the dean’s office.
According to the news agency report, the deceased medical student was a second year MBBS student of a private medical college in Wardha district and the dean had called her to his office regarding her class attendance. During this time, the student took this fatal step.
An officer of Sawangi police station said, a student of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College affiliated to Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research jumped down from the building and died. It is a case of suicide. The officer said that the medical student was 20 years old and was a resident of Nagpur.

Citing preliminary investigation, the official said the girl had some problem with her attendance and was not allowed to appear in the exam.
The student jumped from the fourth-floor office of the college dean and died of severe head injuries, the official said, adding that the police have registered a case of accidental death.
