Agniveer Scheme, Opposition parties are constantly raising questions on the Agniveer scheme. Now former Uttar Pradesh CM and BSP supremo Mayawati has also raised questions on this. She says that people are still concerned about short-term recruitment in the army. She has also posted on X regarding the Agniveer scheme.

BSP supremo Mayawati posted on X on Saturday, “The matter of short-term and temporary recruitment as Agniveer in the army is an issue related to public and national interest on which people are still concerned. But the government is only talking about this matter like national problems like inflation, poverty and unemployment etc., is it right?”

Recruitment in the army is not just a job but a matter of respect

In another post, Mayawati said, Central security forces preparing to give reservation to former Agniveers; this is a new government statement in the media, but this is not something new which has not been said before and which people have accepted. Recruitment in the army is not just a job but is related to passion/respect on which the government must pay attention. Let us tell you, earlier Congress leaders have also raised questions about the Agniveer scheme.

The issue of Agniveer was also raised in the Parliament

It is known that after the Agniveer issue was raised in the Parliament, this issue is continuously being discussed. Meanwhile, big news has come out for the Agniveers. The Government of India has decided to reserve 10 percent seats in the recruitment of Central Armed Security Forces for former Agniveers. This includes recruitments in security forces like Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Border Security Force (BSF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Railway Police Force (RPF).
