Leader of Opposition in UP Assembly Mata Prasad Pandey took a dig at CM Yogi Adityanath over the bulldozer action. Speaking in the House, he said that your (Yogi) guru Digvijaynath loved us a lot. Whenever we went to him, he used to talk to us very seriously. So now you should also show some seriousness towards us. However, it is not your fault, this happens a little at this age.
Mata Prasad Pandey said about CM Yogi’s strict attitude that all this is the effect of age. If you want, you can run a bulldozer on someone or get someone’s house demolished. But I don’t consider it your fault, this is the age, it happens at this age.

Hearing the Leader of Opposition’s words, all the MLAs sitting in the assembly including CM Yogi, Shivpal Yadav started laughing. Even Mata Prasad himself could not stop laughing. Mata Prasad also said that you (Yogi) have been our neighbor. In the early days, I too used to go to the monastery (Goraknath temple). Now you too should talk seriously like Digvijaynath ji.
Apart from this, Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad cornered the Yogi government in the Assembly on various issues like corruption at tehsil level, crime control. Also, gave his suggestions regarding the supplementary budget. He said that the government gives Rs 1200 for children’s dress etc. in primary schools, which is insufficient, it needs to be increased. The government has a lot of budget which has not been spent yet. Mata Prasad claimed that the Saryu project is from before 1977, but it has not been completed till now. So far, more than 2 thousand crores have been spent on it.

He alleged that there is an atmosphere of fear in UP. The government often says that we have fixed the mafias, we have fixed the goons, but it is not so. There is a need to think about this.
