Maserati Gran Turismo launched in India: Italian luxury car manufacturer Maserati today launched the second generation GranTurismo car in the Indian market. The company has launched this two-door (2+2 seating arrangement) coupe car in two variants. Its Modena variant is priced at Rs 2.72 crore and the top-range Trofeo variant is priced at Rs 2.90 crore (both prices ex-showroom).
The special thing is that the company has used the same 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo petrol engine in both variants. However, the company has given different tuning to the engine in both variants, which affects the power output. There is also a difference in many cosmetics and features. Apart from this, the company has also announced the launch of the all-electric GranTurismo Folgore. It is planned to be introduced by next year.
How is the new Maserati GranTurismo:
Just like its price, this two-door coupe car is also amazing. This two-door car has a total of four seats (2+2) in the front and back. The V6 engine used in its Modena variant generates a powerful power of 490hp and a torque of 600Nm. The company claims that this car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
The company has given the same engine in the Trofeo variant as well but due to being tuned, this variant generates 550hp of power and 650Nm of torque. This variant takes just 3.5 seconds to reach a speed of 0 to 100 km/h. The power output of its engine is slightly higher. The top speed of this car is 320 km/h. In both the models, the company has given 20-inch wheels in the front and 21-inch wheels at the rear.

Modena The variant has a 12.2-inch digital-dial display as standard features. Apart from this, a 12.3-inch central infotainment system and an 8.8-inch touchscreen display are available. This touchscreen display will be used to operate functions like climate control. It also has a digital clock and optional head-up display.
Trophy The variant also has 20 inch wheels at the front and 21 inch wheels at the rear. Apart from this, many different fiber elements have been given to decorate the cabin of the car. The company has provided All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) system as standard in the Trofeo variant. Apart from this, the bumper of the car has been made more aggressive than Modena. Its upholstery is also quite sporty. In the market, this car competes with cars like BMW M8 and Ferrari Roma.
