Such a picture has emerged from Kanpur, UP, which is now raising questions. Actually, about half a dozen criminals were present in the birthday party of the BJP district president here. Cases have been registered against them in different police stations of the city under serious sections. When the pictures of the criminals with the BJP leader went viral, there was an uproar.
Let us tell you that Kanpur’s District President Deepu Pandey had his birthday last night, due to which a large number of party workers and common people had gathered outside his house at 12:00 midnight to cut the cake. But when people started posting pictures of the birthday celebration on social media, it was seen that many big criminals of the city were also present at the party along with the District President. Cases are registered against them in serious cases in different police stations.
Akhilesh Thakur, who has around 25 cases against him, got the cake cut by the BJP district president. The other five criminals present in the party, Suraj Thakur, Rishi Patel, Siddan Pandey, Zalim Singh, Gaurav Pandey, also have several cases registered against them in different police stations of Kanpur. These include cases under serious sections like murder, attempt to murder, robbery, NDPS.

When this issue went viral on social media, BJP district president Deepu Pandey gave his clarification while talking to ‘Aaj Tak’. Deepu Pandey says that on his birthday, a crowd of hundreds gathered outside his house, who were workers of his party. Some criminals must have joined this crowd, which he was not aware of. It is possible that these criminals came with the workers, I was not aware of this.
Deepu Pandey also says that many times such people join the crowd. It is difficult to identify them. In no way does our party stand with criminals. The party’s vision is of a crime-free state, which they fully support. However, the matter is gaining momentum. Various discussions are going on about this on social media.
