Manu Bhaker, Vinesh Phogat and Neeraj Chopra’s income suddenly increased… Companies lined up outside their homes

Olympics 2024 has ended, in which Indian players showed their full strength and won 7 medals for the country. Now companies from big to small want to make Olympic medal winners a part of their ads. Especially 15 brands are ready to make Vinesh Phogat a part of their ads. Vinesh Phogat missed out on winning a medal in the Paris Olympics due to a weight gain of just 100 grams, but seeing her popularity, big companies want to sign her for ads.

According to the report of Economics Times, there is a race to make Vinesh Phogat and other Indian athletes, who performed well in Paris Olympics, the face of the brand in categories like packaged food, health, nutrition, jewellery, banking and education. Phogat’s endorsement fee has increased from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 1 crore. Neeraj Chopra has benefited the most and then Manu Bhaker.

Despite not winning a medal, Phogat, who advertised for NIKE sportswear and Country Delight dairy before the start of the Olympics, was clearly one of the outstanding Indian athletes along with javelin throw silver medallist Neeraj Chopra and shooter Manu Bhaker, who won two bronze medals.

The brand value of Neeraj Chopra and Manu Bhaker has increased so much
According to global finance advisory firm Kroll, which provides valuation services, Neeraj Chopra’s brand valuation will grow by 30-40 per cent to $40 million or about Rs 330 crore, the highest for a non-cricket athlete in India. According to Kroll, by 2023, Chopra’s brand value was $29.6 million.

Manu Bhaker has been signed by Thums Up for a one-year endorsement deal worth Rs 1.5 crore. Before the Olympics, her fee was Rs 25 lakh per year per deal. Before the Paris Games, she did an ad for sportswear manufacturer Performax Activewear.

Who gets how much endorsement fee?
There has been a huge jump in the endorsement fees of Indian athlete star Neeraj Chopra. His endorsement fee has increased from Rs 3 crore to Rs 44.5 crore per year per deal. While Manu Bhaker’s endorsement fee has increased from Rs 25 lakh per year per deal to Rs 1.5 crore. Similarly, Vinesh Phogat’s endorsement fee has increased from Rs 25 lakh per year to Rs 75 lakh to Rs 1 crore.
