What did PM Modi say in the NITI Aayog meeting?

New Delhi, The ninth Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog is being held in the country’s capital Delhi. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that making India a developed nation by 2047 is the ambition of every Indian and the states can play an active role in achieving this goal as they are directly connected to the people. PM Modi further said that we are moving in the right direction.

“It is the ambition of every Indian to make India a developed nation by 2047. States can play an active role in achieving this goal as they are directly connected to the people,” the commission quoted Modi as saying on the social media platform ‘X’.

‘India should take advantage of these opportunities’, advises Modi

Prime Minister Modi further said that ‘This decade is a decade of changes, technological and geopolitical changes and opportunities. India should take advantage of these opportunities and make its policies conducive to international investment. This is the stepping stone towards making India a developed nation.’

‘We can fulfill our dream of a developed India by 2047’

He said, “We are moving in the right direction. We have defeated a pandemic that comes once in a hundred years. Our people are full of enthusiasm and confidence. We can fulfill our dream of a developed India by 2047 with the joint efforts of all the states. Only developed states will create a developed India.”

The meeting focuses on making India a developed nation by 2047. The objective of this meeting is to promote participatory operation and cooperation between the central and state governments, strengthen the delivery mechanism and enhance the quality of life for both rural and urban population. The Governing Council, the apex body of NITI Aayog, includes the Chief Ministers of all states, Lieutenant Governors of Union Territories and several Union Ministers. The Prime Minister is the Chairman of NITI Aayog. The meeting will also consider the recommendations of the Third National Conference of Chief Secretaries held in December last year.
