- At the Time of Birth: Rs. 5,000 will be deposited in the girl’s account upon her birth.
- Admission to Class 1: Rs. 6,000 will be credited to the girl’s account when she takes admission in Class 1.
- Admission to Class 6: Rs. 7,000 will be provided when the girl takes admission in Class 6.
- Admission to Class 11: Rs. 8,000 will be credited to the girl’s account upon her admission to Class 11.
- 18th Birthday: A lump sum of Rs. 75,000 will be paid to the beneficiary when she turns 18 years old.
The total financial assistance provided under the Maharashtra Lek Ladki Yojana amounts to Rs. 1,01,000 per eligible girl child.
Application Process
The application process for the Maharashtra Lek Ladki Yojana can be completed either online or offline. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to apply:
Online Application
- Visit the official website of the Maharashtra Lek Ladki Yojana (once it is launched) and click on the “Apply Online” option.
- Fill in the required details, such as the girl’s name, date of birth, parents’ information, ration card details, and family income.
- Upload the necessary documents, including the girl’s birth certificate, parents’ Aadhaar cards, ration card, and income certificate.
- Submit the online application form and keep a record of the acknowledgment number for future reference.
Offline Application
- Obtain the Maharashtra Lek Ladki Yojana application form from the nearest Anganwadi center or the District Program Officer’s office.
