The Maharashtra government has recently launched a significant initiative aimed at providing financial support to unemployed youth through the Mukhya Mantri Yuva Karyaprashikshan Yojana. - Residency: Applicants must be permanent residents of Maharashtra.
- Educational Qualification: The minimum requirement is passing the 12th grade, with higher stipends available for ITI, diploma, and degree holders.
- Aadhaar Linking: Candidates must have their Aadhaar linked to a bank account for stipend disbursement.
Additionally, industries wishing to participate in the scheme must be registered in Maharashtra for at least three years and comply with various regulatory requirements.
Application Process
Interested candidates can apply for the scheme by registering on the official website of the Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Department of Maharashtra. The application process will require submission of documents such as:

The scheme is expected to benefit around 10 lakh youth annually, with a total estimated expenditure of approximately ₹5,500 crore per year by the state government.
