Mahamandleshwar Pilot Baba passes away, he was once a Wing Commander in the Air Force

The country’s famous saint and Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara Mahamandaleshwar ‘Pilot Baba’ has passed away at the age of 86. He is also known as Mahayogi Kapil Singh. He was a famous Indian spiritual guru and former wing commander in the Indian Air Force. He was ill for a long time. Before embracing spirituality, Pilot Baba was also a part of the 1962 India-China war and the 1965 India-Pakistan war.

Commissioned as a fighter pilot in 1957, Kapil Singh flew many missions and rose to a prominent rank in the Indian Air Force. His military career is noted for his valor during crucial battles, which contributed to India’s crucial victories. He credits his guru Baba Hari, who appeared in the cockpit of his plane during an incident and helped him land.

He was flying a MiG fighter jet and had an accident during the 1962 war. In his story, he claimed that once he lost control of his MiG plane, his guide Hari Baba appeared in his cockpit and helped him land safely.

After retiring from the Air Force at the age of 33, Pilot Baba adopted the spiritual path and dedicated his life to spiritual activities. His followers started calling him Pilot Baba. He established many ashrams and spiritual centers in India and abroad.

Pilot Baba was known for his unique practices including samadhi, which he claimed to have done more than 110 times in his entire life. After his demise, there is a wave of mourning among his followers, who are paying emotional tributes to him. His funeral is scheduled to take place in Haridwar. His mahasamadhi has been announced from his Instagram account.
