Lucknow: CM Yogi arrives to meet building accident victim, FIR registered against building owner

The death toll in the building accident in Lucknow’s Transport Nagar has risen to 8 after three more bodies were pulled out from the debris late at night. At the same time, 28 people are injured. All the injured are being treated at Lokbandhu Hospital, CM Yogi Adityanath himself visited them at the hospital. At the same time, a case has been registered against the building owner Rakesh Singhal.

According to Joint Commissioner Law and Order Amit Verma, so far 8 people have died in this entire case and about 28 people are injured. Our rescue operation will continue until the approval of the SDRF team is received. At the same time, a police officer has told that the three-storey building which has collapsed was constructed about four years ago.

‘Suddenly the building tilted to one side and collapsed’

People injured in the building collapse said that they were packing their belongings. Suddenly the building tilted to one side and then collapsed. Before we could understand anything, the building collapsed. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath came to know about our well-being and asked if the treatment was going well or not. According to Rajesh, a resident of Sitapur, everyone was doing their work. Suddenly the building collapsed. In such a situation, CM Yogi has enquired about our well-being.

‘If we had got help from the government…’

According to injured Pradeep, a resident of Hardoi, I have been working there for a long time. Suddenly the building collapsed. We could not know anything. By the time we ran away, the glass fell on us. Due to which we got injured. Pradeep’s mother said, now we have nothing left. We have a son, he too got injured. The treatment has become free, but it would have been better if we had got help from the government. We have nothing to eat.
