LPG Price Hike: LPG cylinder has become expensive from today… Prices have increased so much from Delhi to Mumbai

The month of September has started from today and on 1st September 2024, early in the morning, there has been a shock of inflation (LPG Price Hike) on LPG gas cylinders. After August, once again in September, oil marketing companies have increased the prices of LPG cylinders. However, this time also the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders have changed, while the prices of 14 kg domestic gas cylinders are still the same. From the first of Sunday, commercial LPG cylinders in Delhi have become costlier by Rs 39.

Prices increased so much from Delhi to Mumbai
According to the website of IOCL, the new prices of commercial gas cylinders from Delhi to Mumbai have been implemented from 6 am on September 1, 2024. After the latest change, now the 19 kg LPG cylinder (Delhi LPG Cylinder Price) in the capital Delhi has increased from Rs 1652.50 to Rs 1691.50. Here there has been an increase of Rs 39 per cylinder. If we talk about Kolkata, the price of commercial gas cylinder (LPG Cylinder Price In Kolkata) has increased from Rs 1764.50 to Rs 1802.50. That is, it has become costlier by Rs 38 here.

Talking about other big cities, the price of this 19 kg cylinder in Mumbai (Mumbai LPG Price) has increased to Rs 1644 from September 1, which had increased by Rs 7 to Rs 1605 in August. Its price has been increased for the second consecutive month. Apart from this, the price of LPG cylinder has also increased in Chennai, the commercial cylinder available here for Rs 1817 from the first date has now become Rs 1855.

Prices increased continuously after July
Earlier, while the prices of commercial cylinders were increased in the month of August, on the first of July 2024, the oil marketing companies gave the gift of LPG Price Cut. The companies had cut the prices of commercial gas cylinders and the price of 19 kg cylinder in the capital Delhi had come down by Rs 30. Since then, this is the second consecutive month when the blue colored commercial gas cylinder has become expensive.

Domestic cylinder prices remain stable
On the one hand, there has been a continuous change in the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders, while on the other hand, oil marketing companies have kept the prices of domestic gas cylinders (LPG Cylinder Price) unchanged for a long time. The central government gave a big relief to consumers on 14 kg domestic gas cylinders on Women’s Day. After this, the price of Domestic LPG Cylinder had come down by Rs 100. At present, no change has been made in the prices of these cylinders since then and the price of a cylinder remains at Rs 803 in Delhi, Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 802.50 in Mumbai and Rs 818.50 in Chennai.
