A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Kolar, Karnataka. Here, a few hours after a love marriage, a young man killed his bride with an axe. After this, he attacked himself with the same axe, which also resulted in his death. The police have started investigating the entire case. The bodies have been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem.
According to the information, Naveen Kumar and Likhita Shri, who lived in nearby villages in Kolar district, were in a love affair. Both decided to get married and on 7 August, they got married with great pomp, in which their friends and relatives participated. After the marriage, both spent time with the family.

After this, both of them went to a relative’s house to have tea. During this time, Naveen and Likhita had an argument over something. The quarrel between the two escalated to such an extent that they started fighting. Meanwhile, Naveen attacked Likhita Shri with a sickle (sharp weapon), then attacked himself with the same weapon. During this, when the relatives reached the spot and broke the door, both of them were lying soaked in blood.
Both were rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared Likhita dead. Till then Naveen was alive, he was seriously injured. He was taken to another hospital, where he died on Thursday morning. After getting the information, the police team reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The police took the bodies of both and sent them for post-mortem. Along with this, a case has been registered and investigation of the matter has been started.
