Loan agency owner stabbed to death for not providing mobile hotspot, 4 accused arrested

There was a dispute over mobile hotspot in Hadapsar area of ​​Pune. During this, 4 people stabbed a 47-year-old loan agency owner to death. Police reached the spot, took the body in custody and sent it for postmortem. On the complaint of the deceased’s brother, police have registered an FIR in the case and arrested 4 accused.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Vasudev Ramchandra Kulkarni. The incident took place on Sunday, September 1, around 2 am on the footpath along Saswad Road near Utkarshnagar Society, a short distance from the Hadapsar police station. According to Santosh Pandhare, senior police inspector of Hadapsar police station, Kulkarni refused to share his mobile hotspot with the accused.

After this, the main suspect Mayur Bhosale (20) along with three minors attacked Kulkarni with a knife. After the incident, the police received an anonymous call in the control room, after which the police reached the spot. The police found Vasudev unconscious and soaked in blood. The police then took the injured to the hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.

All four people involved in the attack have been arrested

The victim’s brother Vinayak Kulkarni (51) lodged a complaint at the Hadapsar police station. Following this, the police registered an FIR in the case and arrested all four people involved in the attack. Police say further action is being taken in the case.
